Cyrus’s tattoo, written in a lowercase script, reads, “so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”
Hemsworth’s ink says “if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.”
The couple’s united body art statement comes less than a month after the former Hannah Montana star sparked split rumors by posting a series of cryptic messages on Twitter.
“Ever feel like you want just.... something more. not sure what exactly... passion perhaps?" she wrote.

RED SHOES, TEMPORARY TATTOOS

We're loving CR Fashion Book's latest tongue-in-cheek editorial, shot by Brigitte Niedermair and edited by Shiona Turini, featuring fall's best red shoes, plus strategically placed temporary tattoos. Hello Kitty, sure, but hello, fun fall idea.
ITG pal Langley Fox Hemingway has been known to sport some glittery decals, telling us, "The more ridiculous the better." As for where to purchase, "Drugstores and car washes have the best ones," she says. "I picked some up at Kings Pharmacy in Brooklyn recently. I don't mess with online shopping." That being said, we found some good ones here. Oh, and don't forget a little leg oil.

Selena Gomez gets her second Tattoo !!!

Let’s hop in the Wayback machine and travel back to those simpler times before February 2012….before the sweet and sexy Selena Gomez joined ‘Club Ink’.  Yes, she was (and seemingly still is) dating the heavily inked Bieber… and yes, many of the Disney types in her own age group had recently gotten their first tattoos (followed second, third, and [in Miley Cyrus' case], 14th]).  Yet, there were still a feeling (and perhaps a hope among the anti-ink crowd) that Selena would not succumb to such an ‘impulsive’ choice.
February 2012 put all that discussion to rest as Selena got her first tattoo, which was a very cute, dainty music note on her right wrist.  I, for one, loved it (granted, it helped that I had recently gotten over my dislike of tattoos and joined ‘Club Ink’ one month earlier, myself).  For a reminder, here is how she looked after getting her first tattoo:
Like me, it took Selena exactly 8 months to go from Tattoo #1 to Tattoo #2.  Courtesy of one of my good friends, I was sent this story of her getting her second tattoo on September 30th.
It is the Roman Numerals for 76 etched in to the back of her neck.  All we know about its significance is that is a tribute to a family member who means a lot to her.  If she chooses to share more about that later on, that will be here choice.  But, for now, we can enjoy this new body art.
She went to famous tattoo artist Bang Bang in New York (who has placed some of Rihanna’s ink on her body and is responsible for Vanessa Hudgens very cute butterfly neck tattoo).
I would say it is very likely we will be seeing more ink on Selena as time passes.  If she stays with these very pretty, very feminine designs and placements, it will be a visual treat.

Are Foot Tattoos Sexy?

Some foot tats are small and discreet, others are large and obvious. Women are usually the ones with the foot ink, not men. Popular seems to be names, vegetation (flowers and vines), stars and oriental wording. Sometimes an elaborate ankle tattoo will extend onto the foot. People have even tattooed the bottom of the foot.Celebrities have been known to get foot tattoos as well.
Some women consider the foot tattoo the ultimate shoe accessory as they continue their hunt for the perfect shoe. Many say they are just plain sexy. Others regret them and want them removed.Wacky and bad taste tats also find their way onto the foot.
There are medical reasons to get tattoos on the foot as some use the ink to detract attention from structural foot problems -- such as bunions and hammer toes (...that's one way to put off surgery). People with flat feet can give the appearance of having an arch by inking concave designs on the inside of the foot. A common tattoo for people with webbed toes is to get a line drawn between the toes.
Sexy??? Perhaps the foot is better off without a tattoo? Nonetheless, that's for you to decide. We would like to hear your thoughts and experience with foot tattoos...
Here are 5 things to strongly consider when planning on getting foot tattoos:
1. They can get tremendous wear and tear.
Shoes cause a lot of friction on the skin of the foot, and this can lead to excessive wearing of the tattoo. Over time, this could result in premature fading and disfiguration of the artwork. For this reason alone, some tattoo artists refuse to place tattoos on the feet.
2. Pain. Pain. Pain
The foot has a lot of nerve endings! The bottom of the foot is particular sensate. The borders of the feet can also be quite sensitive as the skin transitions to the skin on the bottom. Foot tattoos can be more painful to place because there is not a lot of subcutaneous fat or muscle, and people could feel things more. Of course, everyone's pain threshold is different as well as the amount of fat tissue on their feet, but still something to consider.
3. Difficult short-term aftercare
It is well known that tattoo aftercare is surrounded by keeping the skin moisturized and clean, to avoid both scarring and infection. As such, this could be a challenge as one needs to wear shoe gear during the few weeks it takes for a foot tattoo to heal. Also, before getting a foot tattoo, make sure that you don't have a fungal infection hiding between the toes as bacteria can fester in these areas.
4. Removal can be difficult.
There are several methods to remove tattoos -- common methods involve laser, excision or dermabrasion. Laser removal is popular but can be a challenge on the foot because there is not a lot of fat, and can make the removal process more involved. As such, try to avoid placing a tattoo directly over bone -- like on the bunion region. Excision is popular for small tats on the top of the foot.
5. Consider future foot surgery.
If you wear high heels and pointy-toed shoes often, then you may develop bunions and hammer toes, so you should consider that you may undergo surgery for this at some point in your life. As such, your tattoo can get intersected by surgical incisions and could become malaligned. Fortunately, bunionplasty and plastic surgery techniques can minimize this occurrence. Areas where incisions are typically placed are located directly on the tops of the toes, on the inside of the big toe, and behind the 3rd and 4th toe.
6. Why Not get a temporary Tattoo First try our "Think before you ink service"

What Inspired Chris Brown's Neck Tattoo?

This is a big week in celebrity tattoos that we don't really understand. Rihanna's huge under-boob tattoo of the goddess Isis (a tribute to her late Gran Dolly) was the talk of the town yesterday but Chris Brown's new neck tattoo is also demanding some attention.
The black and white ink seems to depict a woman's face (or possibly a mask) half of which has been slightly disfigured. Until Brown explains it himself it's difficult to know what exactly he was trying to capture, but both he and his ex have take some risque moves with permanent body art in the past few days. Fans on Twitter weighed in on Chris' new ink, taking guesses as to what he was trying to portray, especially in light of some suggestive headlines.

Rihanna reveals new goddess tattoo

Rihanna, Goddess Isis, tattoo

The 24 year old singer tweeted the snap of the inking across her ribcage along with the caption: "Goddess Isis- Complete Woman - Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1lo."

Isis is the ancient Egyptian goddess of motherhood, magic and fertility. The star had it etched under her breasts at a tattoo parlour in central London ahead of her performance at last night's London 2012 Paralympics Closing Ceremony

Rihanna now has a total of 18 tattoos, including stars on the nape of her neck, 'Ssshhh' on her finger, skull and cross bones on her ankle, and two guns under each arm.
