Cheryl Cole's new tattoo

Cheryl Cole's new tattoo took 11 hours to complete

Cheryl Cole has been immortalised in wax and the singer and 'X Factor' judge unveiled her identical waxwork at London's Madame Tussauds today.
Well, almost identical...
It was missing the 27-year-old star's newly dyed red hair and her brand new tattoo on her right thigh. Cheryl was wearing a short white mini dress as she posed next to her double [pictured] and accidentally revealed the top of what we believe is her sixth tattoo.
Her spokesperson has now confirmed that she has indeed had another tattoo inked on her right thigh to add to the barb wire and rose one on her left leg, a butterfly on her back, a pattern on her hand and the unfortunate 'Mrs C' on her neck. But they refused to describe what the etching is of.
Speaking about her waxwork, the former Girls Aloud star said: "I can’t explain how strange it is. It will take a little while to take in."
She joked about fellow 'X Factor' judge and music mogul Simon Cowell: "Keep me away from Simon!" The waxwork wears a copy of the sequinned Jean Paul Gautier gown worn at Naomi Campbell's charity event while she was still married to footballer Ashley Cole back in 2008.

Cheryl Cole's new butterfly tattoo on her back reportedly took 11 hours to complete. The 27-year-old star is said to have designed the butterfly tattoo herself and had it done at LA's Shamrock Social Club with pal Derek Hough there to support her. The latest inking set her back £900 and is her fifth tattoo. According to UK newspaper Daily Mirror, she told a friend: "The tattoo is deeply personal. It took weeks to come up with the final design. "It has a strong symbolic meaning and signifies a fresh start and my new independence. The sitting itself was pretty painful but I was determined to get it done in one hit. I didn't cry once!" The star showed off her new tattoo with a low-back dress at the National Television Awards.
